The DelSolar R&D team is committed to continuously develop higher quality yet lower cost solar cells to meet the expectations of the industry and customers. In view of our commitment, the team is expanding its R&D efforts from the solar cell manufacturing process to related issues and equipment both upstream and downstream. A perfect example is our R&D project for ultra thin solar cell and modules, where we have partnered with upstream companies, Sino-American Silicon Products, Inc., and Green Energy Technology Inc. and the downstream company Tynsolar Corp. This project has resulted in successfully delivering cell conversion efficiencies of 17.2 percent for mono-silicon solar cells and 16 percent for multi-silicon solar cells with a wafer thickness of 180µm.

Our advantage over other R&D teams is that the DelSolar R&D team offers a broad perspective in providing and developing high quality solar cell technology to fulfill customers' needs. Although DelSolar is relatively young, our outstanding R&D capabilities have already earned an excellent reputation among customers, as well as international certifications such as IEC61215, TUV.

DelSolar's R&D has received recognition from the government with government project, "Leading Product Development". In addition to our own high expectations, the recognition from customers and support from the government provides the driving force for DelSolar's R&D to constantly develop and strengthen its performance.

While DelSolar has already started to achieve successful R&D results, we know that the need for clean energy has just begun. There are still abundant opportunities for solar cell development. Dedicated to constant R&D, DelSolar aspires to create value through clean solar energy and to facilitate a sustainable and better living environment for mankind.
