| World Game Stadium is currently the world's largest BIPV solar-powered sport stadium, constructed with 1 MW light-through built-in Photovoltaic modules, generating at least 1.1 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually. In the first 9 months, the photovoltaic system has generated 1.1 million kWh of power as the annual amount of electricity agreed in the contract. It is expected to reduce 660 tons of carbon dioxide emission which provides the equivalent benefit of planting 33 hectare of trees. The stadium matches the trend of energy saving and carbon reduction. In addition, it has become the new indicator of Eco green sports stadium. |
