Mr. Chiang joined DelSolar in 2006 and has been in charge of the Sales & Marketing Department, which includes sales in the Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States regions, strategic procurement (for Wafer / Ingot / Poly short-term material procurement) and Logistics.
After university graduation Mr. Chiang focused on the area of procurement and sales, and since then he has accumulated more than 14 years experience.
Mr. Chiang has a technical background but he chose a road different from the typical freshman engineer. His first job was as a procurement engineer at the Electronics Laboratory of Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). Within two years he was promoted to procurement team leader, responsible for all procurement of the Electronics Laboratory. Three years later, he was promoted again as Merchandise Manager in charge of overseeing procurement, import & export and warehouse management. During this period, he established the first LTPS TFT-LCD R&D line in Taiwan.
Afterwards, Mr. Chiang worked at TPO Displays Corp. In his first three years of procurement at TPO, he helped build factories and served as the head of machine procurement. At this time he established the first LTPS TFT-LCD production line in Taiwan and handled more than ten thousand million New Taiwan Dollars of procurement business. He then transferred to a sales position that was initially responsible for all PDA business and managed the South Korean market.
Mr. Chiang received a Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering from Columbia University in New York. |
