Dr. Liang joined DelSolar in 2006 as Chairman and CEO. With over 20 years of experience in technology and management, Dr. Liang holds more than 100 U.S. patents & applications in materials and processes for electronics, displays and imaging applications.
Prior to joining DelSolar, Dr. Liang worked in technology and management positions at a number of well-known companies, including Vice Chairman, President, CTO and co-founder of SiPix Group; Executive Advisor of BASF Electronic Materials (Germany); Research Fellow and Program Director of Polaroid; and Research Fellow and Group Manager of Mead Corp..
In addition to his extensive industrial experience, his laurels include receiving the Herman Mark Medal in 2007 as well as Alumni Achievement Awards from Taiwan National Tsing Hua University in 2006 and New York Polytechnic University in 2004.
Dr. Liang is currently Chairman and CEO at DelSolar and CTO at Delta Electronics.
Dr. Liang received his B.S. in Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University in 1975, an M.S. in Chemistry from National Taiwan University in 1977, and his Ph.D. from New York Polytechnic University in 1985. |
